Data's yoke structure was sort of weird in First Contact, too; rather than gently sloping from the neckline to the armscye, there was quite a bit of downward slope around the neckline that "leveled off" well before the armscye.

Perhaps this was because of Brent Spiner's build, or perhaps there was some sort of unusual padding going on (such as shoulder pads put in backwards and around the neckline instead of at the armscye).
For whatever it's worth, we'd seen garments similarly-shaped in the shoulder area on him before, though:
